Personal Mini Documentaries

What are personal mini-documentaries?

A short video where you talk about an important time or particularly meaningful event in your life!

Why would I do that?

A short video quickly communicates who you really were.

But I’m not important.

What would you give to have a short video like the ones on this page about one of your ancestors? Priceless, right? That’s exactly how your great- and grandchildren will feel.

How would I share my video?

Save your video to the cloud and then embed a link to it in your biography, photobook, or even a particularly meaningful photo. We will gladly assist in this.

Will everyone see my video?

There are different ways to do this depending on your privacy preferences. Generally a video like this is saved in the cloud so that anyone with the link can view your video. The privacy comes from guarding (and if necessary changing) the link. You can think of it as an unlisted phone number. Anyone with the number can call you. But because it’s unlisted, only a few people will have that number.

How do I create a personal mini-documentary?

If you live in Utah County or are coming through here, contact us. We’ll discuss your project and schedule a time to visit our studio in Provo, UT, and record your story. We can also come to your place. And if you are elsewhere, we’d still love to hear from you. Maybe there’s another way we can obtain some quality video footage that we can then edit for you.

How much will it cost?

That will of course depend on the length of the recording and the amount of editing we have to do. Please check out the pages on our home page: https://rememberize.com

In addition, we’ve shown some prices on the sample videos on this page. Hopefully that gives you an idea. Please don’t hesitate to contact us. We don’t bite and our quotes are free.
