Our Christmas gift to our children, grandchildren and extended family this year will be an illustrated children’s book about my wife’s great-grandmother.

She passed away before my wife was born and we only know her from the stories grandpa told us during our annual Memorial Day visits to the cemetery.

Well, this year, we rememberized her, by creating this book.

1. We sat Grandpa down and recorded him telling about his grandmother.

2. From the recording we put together a simple story that became the text for our Children’s Book.

3. We had an artist create six illustrations to go with the story text.

4. My wife wrote her thoughts about her great-grandmother.

5. We had a video editor put together a short video from Grandpa’s recording, the illustrations, and some photos we were able to obtain.

6. We had everything laid out into a simple, yet beautiful Rememberize Family History Children’s Book with the video embedded via QR code.

The book project (without the video) would have been $895 ($537 after the Shop-In-Utah discount) and included 20 printed copies, enough for each of our children, siblings, and some aunts and uncles.

The slide show video was $995 ($597 after Shop-In-Utah discount).

If you are ready to jump on this before December 1st, there is still time to get the books done before Christmas. But, if things seem too rushed right now, then consider a gift certificate.
