This Christmas, why not gift one of those stories to your family and friends?
Whether it’s a single story in form of a newsletter or a children’s book, or a collection of stories published in a book, we can help you delight and inspire your loved ones with your family and personal life stories.
For a limited time we will rememberize your first story for only $89.
A good family and personal life story is relatively short, the reader (or viewer) can take it in in 3-5 minutes. It consists of more than just facts, but includes feelings, fears, hopes, humor, beliefs, some of that stuff that reveals something about the true personality of the subject of the story. A good story tells enough about the surroundings so that the reader can picture themselves in the story. This may include references to major events, historical or otherwise; explanations about things like “party lines”, “ice boxes”, “sock hop”, “derrick”, … A good story also includes visuals like photos and drawings. And in our day and time it can also include a link to video or audio content that can easily be accessed on a smart phone.
We want to help you tell your family and personal life stories so that your loved ones will not only read (or watch) them, but that they will be entertained, delighted, inspired, touched by them.
What do I get for $89?
For a limited time, we are offering to write your first story for only $89. Pick a story you want to tell, then call us up for an appointment. We’ll record your story (in person or over the phone) , write it up, add some pictures or other artwork and put it together into an attractive newsletter format. You can then share that newsletter with family and friends:
- a printed version through the mail (we’ll give you 20 printed color copies),
- an electronic version through email (we’ll give you a PDF),
- as a post on Facebook, or
- as a memory on FamilySearch.
And you can add that story to your personal collection so that at some time in the future you have enough stories to publish your own fun, engaging personal history.
